SARS Easyfile export

SARS Easyfile export
1

Company

1. Company
Choose the applicable company.
2

Number range

2. Number range
Do not change this number range if you are unsure what this is for. If the same company has different workers on another dataset or loaded under another company on the system (but it is the same registered company), the number range must be different from each other. This number is used when creating each employee's certificate and if the number range on the different sets are the same, the file imported into EasyFile last, will overwrite the previous file. Rather phone when you're unsure.

Reconciliation for:

3. Reconciliation for:
Here you choose if the export is for the half yearly or yearly recon. Take a look at the report period if you aren't sure of the right choice.
4

Tax year

Choose the applicable tax year. Once again, if you are unsure, take a look at the report period.
5

Report period

5. Report period
The report period will show the period included in the export.
66. Ok
When 'OK' is clicked, the next screen will open (the same screen as can be seen at number 8 below). Work through the list before creating the file.
77. Quit
The system will not go further with this process.
88. Check current employees
This screen will show all employees with insufficient information according to the requirements made by SARS. Work through the list until no employee is highlighted in red.
99. Would you like to create an EXCEL export file?
This option creates an Excel file showing what information is written on each employee's certificate. Check the block. When the export file is created, an Excel file can be found on the Desktop.
