Time rounding
Time rounding deals with arrival and departure times, and provides a degree of control in the management of these times. You need to phone the office if you want to use this option. This option isn't as sophisticated, because this will be applicable to ALL time programmes - there is a better option available, please phone us to discuss.
Allow late arrival
Allow late arrival means allowing a few minutes grace before starting to reduce paid hours. We recommend a value of between two and five minutes here. This helps to simplify your calculations and the general administration of time, as it removes a number of meaningless little adjustments from the system.

Ignore early arrival is used to prevent the generation of small amounts of overtime by people arriving before normal working hours. Extra time before normal working hours will be ignored by the system unless it is for a longer period than the value entered here. In the example above, an employee working for an extra 30 minutes will be credited with that overtime whilst an employee working for an extra 20 minutes will not be credited with overtime.

This value will round the amount of flexi time hours worked to the closest 10 minutes. Remember, this can benefit both the employee and the employer, so be conservative with this number. We recommend nothing more than 10 minutes.
