Balance hours

Balance hours
This window lets you specify how the system should deal with those cases where employees have worked overtime on one or more days but also have some short time.
11. NO
Leave overtime and short time unchanged i.e. pay for overtime worked and deduct money for short time.
22. YES, SAME DAY
Reduce short time for a particular day by using overtime hours worked on THAT SAME day.
33. YES, WEEKDAYS
Reduce weekday short time by using overtime hours worked on any weekday.
44. YES, WEEKDAYS AND SATURDAYS
Reduce weekday and Saturday short time by using overtime hours worked on any days except Sundays.
55. Do not balance UNPAID leave hours
If an employee is absent, and unpaid leave records are recorded, should the system use those hours to balance overtime or not. It would be advantageous to the employee is it is left out of the equation.
